Job Summary:
The professional will handle monitoring and resolution of operational incidents, aiming to minimize losses and manage documentation and goods.
Key Highlights:
1. Direct involvement in preventing and minimizing operational losses
2. Management and resolution of incidents involving customers and origin units
3. Maintaining organization and control of the pending items and inventory department
Monitor operational incidents generated and/or identified in the Recife Unit's operations, implementing actions to minimize losses (repairs, packaging replacement, customer negotiations, etc.);
Receive documentation and goods with incidents from operations, verifying in the system whether the records are accurate and whether goods bear incident labels, making any necessary corrections and informing leadership of non-conformities;
Handle operational incidents (shortage, overage, misdelivery, damage) with origin units and/or end customers;
Communicate incident situations to the freight-paying customer and consignee, updating the system after each action taken;
Monitor first-leg unloading and perform incident registration procedures with the freight-paying customer;
Initiate indemnification processes within established deadlines;
Conduct daily warehouse searches to locate goods (overages, unidentified packages, packages showing signs of tampering, etc.), updating the daily physical inventory reconciliation between units and extending searches to redelivery partners;
Perform weekly overall physical inventory reconciliation jointly with the operational team;
Maintain the pending items department organized;
Control damages and overages, reconciling physical counts with system records;
Assist in activities of the Loss Prevention Department.
**Requirements:**
MUST HAVE \=\> 1 year of experience in goods verification;
DESIRABLE \=\> Experience in cargo transportation sector and prior work in LOSS PREVENTION.
