The mission of the **Senior Resource Acquisition Analyst** is to prospect and analyze funding and financing opportunities aligned with CESAR’s strategic priorities, supporting the development and submission of technical and financial proposals that broaden funding acquisition capacity and institutional positioning. We expect you to... * Continuously map and monitor national and international calls for proposals, public tenders, and funding opportunities aligned with CESAR’s strategic areas. * Analyze technical, administrative, and financial requirements of calls for proposals, identifying risks, obligations, eligibility criteria, and alignment with internal capabilities. * Support the preparation, structuring, and submission of project proposals in collaboration with the area manager, technical leads, and research groups. * Maintain and develop relationships with funding agencies, government bodies, universities, international institutions, and private partners, contributing to expanded funding opportunities. * Monitor deadlines, schedules, and submission stages, ensuring organization, documentary compliance, and adherence to call requirements. * Manage and organize supporting documentation required for submissions and partnerships (Lattes CVs, institutional certifications, reports, certificates, declarations, among others). * Support technical and financial reporting for approved projects, coordinating with internal departments responsible for such reporting, ensuring compliance with funders’ regulations. * Populate and maintain an updated repository of opportunities, submitted proposals, and funding history, enabling analysis, KPI tracking, and continuous process improvement. * Prepare management reports on monitored calls, submitted proposals, approvals, and project status, providing inputs for decision-making by the manager and Head of the area. * Contribute to analyses of national and international funding trends, identifying emerging investment areas, new financing mechanisms, and strategic opportunities. It is important that you have... * Knowledge of research, innovation, and technological development funding mechanisms (e.g., public agency calls and others) * Ability to read and interpret calls for proposals, terms of reference, contracts, and funding regulations. * Experience submitting proposals via electronic funding platforms (e.g., Carlos Chagas Platform, SICONV/Transferegov, or agencies’ proprietary systems). * Proficiency in Google tools (spreadsheets, documents, forms, presentations, Drive) or Microsoft Office suite; * Knowledge of technical and financial reporting for funded projects * Attention to detail * Assertive communication * Autonomy * Systems thinking It’s a plus if you have... * A degree in Administration, Economics, or related fields. * Postgraduate studies or specialization in Project Management, Innovation, Public Policies, Resource Acquisition, or related areas will be considered a differentiator. * Intermediate or advanced English proficiency for reading and analyzing international calls and tenders.
