




Job Summary: A professional responsible for operating and maintaining essential industrial infrastructure systems, including boilers, compressors, water treatment, and effluent treatment, as well as performing maintenance and monitoring activities. Key Highlights: 1. Boiler and compressor operation and maintenance 2. Water and effluent systems management and monitoring 3. Execution of maintenance routines and safety inspections 1\- Operate boilers and compressors, perform regular inspections, and carry out necessary repairs to ensure continuous steam and compressed air supply to industrial processes; 2\- Support pump house operations by managing water pump performance, monitoring and adjusting operational parameters to ensure adequate water supply across different plant areas; 3\- Monitor and adjust water levels and quality, conduct quality tests and make required adjustments to ensure process water meets specified standards; 4\- Support supervision of steam distribution and usage by monitoring meters and adjusting valves and controls to ensure steam is available at correct pressure for processes; 5\- Monitor the Biological Treatment Station (BTS), perform biological effluent treatment, monitor biological and chemical parameters, and adjust processes as needed to ensure effluents are adequately treated prior to discharge; 6\- Collect and analyze factory performance data using Business Intelligence (BI) systems to record and analyze data, providing accurate information for decision-making; 7\- Control chlorine and chemical supply to the BTS, monitor stock levels and adjust dosages as required to ensure effectiveness of water and effluent treatment processes; 8\- Perform maintenance and cleaning of filters according to scheduled cleaning and maintenance procedures to ensure filtration process efficiency; 9\- Record and manage work orders and maintenance tasks using the Sigga Brizzo system to create and track work notes, ensuring all maintenance activities are properly recorded and tracked; 10\- Rectify anomalies by repairing damaged component(s) using appropriate tools and equipment, or replacing defective component(s) with spares; 11\- Execute daily maintenance routines such as anomaly identification, inspection routes, planned safety inspections, and analysis of equipment breakdowns/failures; 12\- Monitor air temperature, combustion gas temperature, steam temperature, and feedwater temperature; 13\- Disassemble and mark component(s) using appropriate equipment, tools, and utensils; 14\- Rectify anomalies by repairing damaged component(s) using appropriate tools and equipment, or replacing defective component(s) with spares; 15\- Conduct daily machine checklists and support maintenance planning; 16\- Participate weekly in GGA (a meeting to discuss sector improvement topics to generate positive impacts); 17\- Execute daily maintenance routines such as anomaly identification, inspection routes, planned safety inspections, and analysis of equipment breakdowns/failures; 18\- Perform duties in accordance with health, safety, environment, and quality standards defined in Unilever’s internal policies; 19\- Report factory accidents and incidents per Unilever’s internal policy.
