Job Summary: The professional will assist the Mechanical Engineering team in planning, budgeting, monitoring, and executing HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) projects, including on-site installation supervision and preparation of technical reports. On-site installation supervision and preparation of technical reports An engineering and HVAC company is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Assistant in Ipojuca. Founded in 1977, Comtel specializes in executing large-scale HVAC engineering projects for central air conditioning systems, including direct and indirect expansion systems, and mechanical ventilation. Comtel is an authorized and certified partner for sales, installation, and maintenance services for central air conditioning units manufactured by Midea, Carrier, LG, Trane, York, and Hitachi. **Responsibilities:** Assist the Mechanical Engineering team in planning, budgeting, monitoring, and executing HVAC projects. Supervise the installation of chilled water systems, chillers, fan coils, hydraulic pumps, hydraulic piping networks, air distribution ducts, piping, and other mechanical equipment. Conduct field surveys, project drawing verifications, and service measurements. Assist in material control and schedule updates. Prepare technical reports and progress tracking spreadsheets. Provide on-site support to construction teams, ensuring compliance with project specifications, technical standards, and company procedures. Support engineers in preparing and updating technical documents and reports. Monitor field activities, recording measurements, progress, and site occurrences. Assist in schedule, deadline, and activity priority management. Supervise inspections, measurements, and quality checks for executed work. Enter data into engineering internal systems, spreadsheets, and control tools. Previous experience as an Engineering Intern, Technical Assistant, Project Assistant, or Engineering Technician may indicate suitability for some responsibilities of this position. Bachelor’s degree required.
