'\- Admit and orient patients within the unit regarding nursing care, institutional policies, and routine nursing procedures. '\- Document all performed procedures in the patient’s medical record, as everything used for the patient in the unit will be billed to the health plan for payment to HMSJ. '\- Perform planned nursing care according to patient needs. '\- Maintain the patient’s medical record organized per institutional guidelines to facilitate administrative work. '\- Report changes in patients’ general conditions to the nurse to prevent escalation requiring urgent care and ensure the physician is informed of the situation. '\- Accompany patients during examinations. '\- Maintain organization of the nursing station and D.M.L. '\- Properly identify oneself through professional signature and stamp after every entry in the medical record. '\- Participate in development and improvement programs conducted by Continuing Education and Human Resources.
