Job Summary: Responsible for planning, analyzing, and optimizing water and sewage system operations, providing technical and strategic support to ensure efficiency and regulatory compliance. Support for continuous improvement initiatives and cost optimization Responsible for planning, analyzing, and optimizing water supply and/or sewage system operations in the Salgueiro regional office. Provides technical and strategic support to operational teams, ensuring process efficiency, system reliability, and achievement of performance, quality, and regulatory compliance indicators. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Monitor and improve the operational performance of water and sewage systems in the regional office, focusing on continuity, quality, and efficiency (Senior level). * Consolidate operational data (production, distribution/collection, losses, incidents, energy, inputs) and prepare analyses, management reports, and presentations. * Support goal and indicator (KPI) deployment, identifying deviations, root causes, and proposing action plans. * Support service scheduling, demand prioritization, and coordination among COI/CCO, field teams, maintenance, and support areas. * Contribute to standardization of routines, procedures, checklists, and operational records, strengthening discipline and traceability. * Support contingency management, response plans, and communication of relevant incidents, where applicable. * Collaborate with quality, environmental, safety, and engineering departments to ensure adherence to technical and regulatory requirements. * Support continuous improvement initiatives, energy efficiency, loss reduction, and operational cost optimization. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Sanitary Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Production Engineering, or related fields. * Solid experience in operation/maintenance of sanitation systems and analysis of operational indicators. * Knowledge of water treatment plant (WTP) and wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) processes, networks, pumping stations, and field routines; experience in regulated operations is desirable. * Strong analytical ability and systemic vision for data interpretation and decision-making support. * Advanced Excel skills; Power BI knowledge and familiarity with operational systems (SCADA/telemetry, work orders) are desirable. * Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with field teams and corporate departments. * Willingness to work on-site and travel between operational units. * Driver’s license category B is desirable. * Availability to work on-site in Salgueiro/PE. **Additional Information** **BENEFITS:** Medical assistance; Dental assistance; Life insurance; Transportation allowance; Meal voucher and/or food allowance; Profit-sharing program (PLR); **VITA Sertão** is the sanitation concessionaire established to drive development in the Sertão region of Pernambuco.
