Focus on continuous improvement and accident reduction Perform occupational safety-related activities in a preventive manner to eliminate or reduce risks of workplace accidents/occupational diseases, while ensuring compliance with all applicable legislation. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Perform occupational safety-related activities in a preventive manner to eliminate or reduce risks of workplace accidents/occupational diseases, while ensuring compliance with all applicable legislation; * Manage CIPA and fire brigade operations to implement corrective and preventive measures for workplace accidents; * Document the company's continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing workplace accidents; * Provide assistance in cases of workplace accidents and investigate root causes to prevent recurrence; * Develop occupational safety training programs, including awareness campaigns and dissemination of safety regulations, to foster a preventive safety mindset among employees; * Maintain occupational safety documentation to ensure compliance with legal requirements (NRs, PGR, PCMSO, LTCAT, etc); * Conduct studies and prepare preliminary risk analyses (APR); * Record traffic accidents involving company fleet vehicles; * Conduct safety inspections in operational areas; * Periodically perform checklists to verify the condition of machines, equipment, and tools to ensure safe usage; * Participate in the client’s safety committee, when applicable; * Conduct periodic safety inspections of company fleet vehicles and employee transportation vehicles to ensure necessary safety conditions. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Education: Technical degree in Occupational Safety * Experience: 3 years **Additional Information** * Valid Brazilian driver’s license (Category B) ### **Ready to renew the world?** **Hello, nice to meet you!** We are part of Veolia Group, a global leader and reference in environmental solutions.
