#### **About the position:**
Responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for all employees of a hospital institution, through implementation of preventive measures, accident investigation, and promotion of a safety culture, aiming to prevent occupational diseases and workplace accidents. #### **Main responsibilities:**
Conduct periodic inspections of facilities, equipment, and work processes, identifying and eliminating unsafe conditions.
Investigate all workplace accidents, preparing reports and proposing corrective actions.
Develop and keep up-to-date occupational safety documents, such as PPRA, PCMSO, and emergency plans.
Deliver training to employees on occupational safety topics.
Provide guidance on the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by employees.
Identify, assess, and control risks to workers' health and safety.
Participate in the Internal Accident Prevention Commission (CIPA), collaborating in prevention activities.
Propose preventive actions against fires and leaks.
Monitor occupational safety indicators, such as accident and occupational disease frequency.
Provide technical support to other members of the occupational safety team and to employees in general.
#### **Mandatory requirements:**
Education: Technical Course in Occupational Safety with MTE registration
Experience in healthcare institutions, knowledge of safety management systems, and specialized training courses
Desirable qualifications (and/or certifications in NRs such as 35, 18, 32, 13, 10, among others), Civil Firefighter certification, People Management, and other areas related to Occupational Safety and Health (OSH), Microsoft Office Suite.
