The **Ramp Assistant** will perform ramp handling operations (sorting, loading, and unloading) for aircraft with safety, quality, and punctuality, ensuring process efficiency and contributing to customers' perception of the company's services regarding baggage and cargo transportation, as well as flight punctuality. Assist with aircraft arrivals and departures, and perform aircraft cleaning when necessary.
**This position is exclusively for Recife Airport (REC)!**

**Responsibilities and Duties**
* Supervise aircraft during arrivals and departures;
* Verify and supervise baggage and cargo labels;
* Place and remove wheel chocks and cones on aircraft according to the Client Manual or dnata's MGO;
* Perform segregation of baggage and cargo volumes in airport sorting areas—based on reading identification labels (with or without technological assistance)—to ensure correct loading onto storage devices (carts and/or ULDs) for respective flights;
* Stow baggage and cargo in aircraft holds following norms and procedures outlined in the MGO, including special handling recommendations (fragile, dangerous, live animals, perishable items);
* Unload baggage and cargo by reading volume identification labels and place them at designated locations (baggage reclaim carousels);
* Segregate baggage and cargo during aircraft unloading to facilitate interline connections by reading volume identification labels;
* Inspect and monitor baggage and cargo packaging to verify compliance with transport requirements, ensuring flight and handler safety;
* Properly handle and allocate baggage and cargo within aircraft holds, observing internal retention and hold height safety limits;
* Unload wheelchairs or baby strollers and place them at designated locations;
* Perform equipment marshalling during coupling procedures with aircraft to prevent fuselage collisions;
* Service aircraft within the timeframes established for each service type and airport classification;
* Conduct pre-use checklists on non-motorized equipment to ensure operational safety, reporting equipment requiring repairs to the GSE Technical Maintenance team;
* Report any equipment anomalies encountered during operations to supervisors.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
* Completed high school education;
* Strong interpersonal communication skills;
* Analytical ability in assessing situations;
* Stress resistance;
Physical requirements include broad and fine motor coordination, dexterity, upper and lower limb articulation, bipedal standing posture for performing tasks, trunk rotation and flexion, physical effort, and ambulation throughout the operational area.
Sensory requirements include visual acuity for moving baggage from carousels to transport equipment, chocking, aircraft loading/unloading with baggage and cargo, flight-related signaling, floor inspection and scanning for dropped objects, and auditory perception for identifying audible signals from equipment and machinery on the tarmac.
Neuropsychological requirements include attention, concentration, organizational skills, data interpretation, and initiative in resolving causal situations.
