Opportunity to propose improvements and collaborate with product development **How you will contribute to this challenge:** Manage teams and production activities within a specific production area to ensure compliance with quality, productivity, cost, and safety requirements. **Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:** * Defining action plans to achieve production goals and objectives, supervising activity execution to optimize productivity, quality, cost, and safety, and being accountable for results; * Analyzing production planning—including production mix—in coordination with the Production Planning and Control (PPC) department; * Supervising and controlling raw material and input consumption in production, as well as production costs, identifying alternatives to reduce direct costs and minimize waste in the production process; * Identifying, analyzing, and proposing improvement opportunities for products and processes, collaborating with the product development team to implement feasible solutions; * Planning the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and related operational training, defining schedules and monitoring implementation; * Ensuring workplace safety practices by complying with—and enforcing—area-specific norms and procedures, including workplace cleanliness and organization (5S, GMP, and FSSC 22000); * Maintaining equipment conditions by identifying anomalies and arranging necessary repairs to ensure proper functionality; * Managing the functional team by establishing professional development plans, guiding task execution, introducing new methods, training newly hired staff, evaluating performance, scheduling vacations, and performing other administrative duties—all while adhering to personnel and safety policies, norms, and procedures applicable to the area; * Keeping the Industrial Management informed about implemented actions and achieved results in the area, reporting situations requiring higher-level decision-making. **What you need to apply:** * Completed Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or Production Engineering; * Proven experience in industrial environments; * Solid experience using and applying various management tools. **You’ll stand out if you have:** * Postgraduate degree/MBA/specialized training in management (business, operations, processes, or projects). * Proven experience in food manufacturing industries. **What benefits you’ll receive:** * 12 monthly payments equal to the agreed remuneration; * Two semiannual payments each equivalent to 50% of the base monthly payment; * 21-day paid leave; * Reimbursement of corporate travel and accommodation expenses; * ASA Products Kit; * Annual Profit-Sharing Program (PLR); * Comprehensive health insurance plan. **Selection Process Steps:** * Application submission; * Initial screening; * Interview with the Attraction and Selection team; * Technical and behavioral assessment; * Interview with leadership; * Job offer; * Hiring. **Additional Information:** **Work Location:** On-site at ASA Industry’s plant in Belo Jardim/PE. **Employment Type:** Independent Contractor (PJ) **Our story is powered by our people** The ASA Group relies on over 1,900 dedicated professionals who, since the company’s founding in 1996, have produced market-leading brands that reach thousands of families.
