Description: What You Need:
* Registered with the Regional Chemistry Council (CRQ);
* Technical-level qualification in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or Food Science;
* Minimum six months of laboratory or industrial experience;
* Technical knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP);
* Fundamental knowledge of chemistry;
* Proficiency in basic Microsoft Office suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Food Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, or Biochemistry;
* Experience working in the food industry;
* Proficiency in intermediate-level Microsoft Office suite.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
* Perform routine operational tasks and analyses at wastewater treatment plants;
* Review operational documents;
* Familiarity with TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) tools;
* Inspect equipment at industrial wastewater treatment plants;
* Operate equipment at the treatment plant;
* Request equipment maintenance;
* Follow operational procedures;
* Maintain a clean and organized workplace;
* Assist the Quality Assurance Supervisor with administrative tasks related to quality management;
* Prepare reagents.
