Job Summary: The Industrial General Services Assistant performs cleaning, maintenance, and operational support activities in a factory environment, ensuring organization, hygiene, safety, and productive support while adhering to regulations and best practices of 5S. Key Highlights: 1. Performs cleaning and maintenance of internal and external industrial areas. 2. Supports industrial operations and organization of the factory floor. 3. Collaborates on 5S practices and continuous improvement, ensuring proper care of equipment. The Industrial General Services Assistant is responsible for performing cleaning, maintenance, and operational support activities within the factory environment, ensuring organization, hygiene, safety, and support for production routines. Works in compliance with occupational safety standards, internal procedures, and 5S best practices. **Cleaning and Maintenance** * Clean internal and external industrial areas (production sectors, corridors, warehouses, restrooms, locker rooms, cafeteria, offices, etc.). * Collect, sort, and properly dispose of waste according to environmental regulations and internal instructions. * Operate industrial cleaning equipment (floor polishers, washers, industrial vacuum cleaners), where applicable. * Restock hygiene and cleaning supplies at designated usage points. **Support to Industrial Operations** * Assist in organizing the factory floor, keeping circulation areas clear and safe. * Perform minor production support tasks upon request, respecting functional boundaries. * Assist in simple material handling and organization of cleaning supply stock. **Safety and Regulations** * Strictly comply with Occupational Safety and Health regulations, including proper use of PPE. * Identify and report hazards observed in work areas. * Follow appropriate procedures for disposal of industrial and chemical waste, when required. **Best Practices and Continuous Improvement** * Collaborate on 5S practices (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain). * Suggest improvements to cleaning and maintenance processes. * Ensure proper care of equipment and materials used.
