Toolmaker PL \- 1023 Main Responsibilities: * Perform corrective, preventive, and modification maintenance on manual and progressive stamping tools, fixtures, and templates; * Assemble, disassemble, repair, or replace parts of components; * Operate machine tools, such as lathes, conventional milling machines, surface and profile grinders, welding equipment, thermal treatment furnaces, grinders, sanders, and electrical discharge machining (EDM) equipment; * Carry out medium- and high-complexity repairs on components for recovery, including weld additions, to avoid production line stoppages; * Operate overhead cranes when necessary; * Implement medium- and high-complexity improvements and modifications; * Maintain organization and cleanliness in the work area and of equipment. Requirements: * High school diploma preferred; * Prior experience as a toolmaker preferred; * Knowledge of technical drawing preferred; * Knowledge of metrology preferred; * Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance preferred.
