




Job Summary: Performs preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment, operational systems, and auxiliary devices, ensuring the full functionality of the installation. Focus on sustainability and waste valorization Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment, operational systems, and auxiliary devices (including telecommunications) within your business unit, carrying out installations, inspecting and repairing electrical circuits, motors, fuses, generator sets, voltage networks, and other related components, thereby ensuring full functionality of the entire electromechanical portion of the installation. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Inspect the electrical components of equipment (overhead cranes, machines, equipment, panels, etc.), testing components using instruments such as voltmeters, ammeters, and other auxiliary tools, relying on perceptual-sensory capabilities to locate and identify potential defects; * Disassemble defective parts using conventional wrenches to perform necessary repairs and adjustments; * Inspect electrical circuits using measuring and electronic instruments, test lamps, and other means to detect abnormalities in circuits; * Disassemble electrical controls, switches, motors, generators, and auxiliary equipment using appropriate tools to replace or repair defective parts; * Replace parts of electrical components—such as coils, contacts, brushes, devices, wires, switches, conduits, bearings, and others—by removing, disassembling, cutting, installing units or devices, in accordance with the maintenance plan or for circuit recovery purposes; * Perform repairs and installations on telephone network systems, replacing and/or installing wires, junction boxes, telephones, telephone components, insulating materials, and other related items, to ensure required preventive or corrective maintenance; * Assemble motor and machine control panels, power distribution panels, motors, generators, and other assemblies using appropriate tools, specialized electrical materials, and mechanical and electrical parts, to maintain the equipment’s electrical components in perfect working condition; * Actively participate in emergency operations, following procedures according to received training, remaining attentive to all operations—including proper use of safety equipment—to add value to the task force during immediate containment of critical situations; * Report requirements for materials, tools, and instruments needed for work, to guide external procurement or recovery activities; * Remain vigilant regarding unsafe acts or conditions in internal or outsourced teams, reporting and/or taking preventive measures per institutional instructions received; * Keep supervisors informed about performed tasks and encountered difficulties, recommending alternative maintenance solutions to contribute to area work effectiveness; * Comply with policies, procedures, and standards established by the specific management system, using preventive equipment, observing regulatory norms and procedures, reporting deviations, and proposing corrections for unsafe acts, thereby contributing to implementation and maintenance of normative, legal, and regulatory requirements governing the IMS. * Participate in internal events / campaigns / training sessions related to the IMS; * Perform other tasks of similar nature and complexity at the supervisor’s discretion. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Minimum Education: Completed Elementary School. * Industrial Maintenance Electrician qualification course recognized by the Official Education System (e.g., SENAI or another related Professional Training Center).
