Separate and weigh ingredients according to recipes. Shape bread and organize baking trays and pans. Monitor fermentation and baking processes. Remove products from the oven and arrange them for display. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the production area. Monitor expiration dates and storage of raw materials. Comply with hygiene and food safety standards. Previous experience as a Bakery Assistant, Baker’s Helper, Oven Operator, or Pastry Assistant may indicate suitability for some of the duties associated with this position. High school diploma required.
