As a **Senior** **Technical** **Data Scientist Manager**, your mission will be to ensure technical understanding of the problem and share responsibility for delivery, acting as the technical focal point for the client while mentoring and developing your team’s careers—thereby adding value to the project, client, and team. We expect you to... * Understand the client’s actual problem, translate it clearly to your team, and explain the technical decisions made to the client; * Actively participate in Human Capital programs and initiatives aimed at developing your team, applying tools and training focused on supporting your team’s career growth; * Ensure adoption of software development processes; * Technically lead pre-sales efforts, define technical team allocation, and monitor this allocation throughout project execution; * Collaborate with the team to create technical solutions and make necessary technical decisions when the team needs help reaching consensus; * Facilitate internal (with the team) and external (with the client) communication, supporting project managers in managing client expectations; * Support scope, risk, estimation, and delivery planning management; * Conduct technical assessments of project situations to inform decision-making; * Explore new techniques, technologies, and processes within your technical domain to propose innovative approaches for your teams and technical leadership—and assist in implementing them at the project level. It is important that you... * Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering; * Have extensive experience with Data/AI projects (BI, Data Analytics, Decision Trees, Machine Learning, Generative AI, etc.) * Across every stage of the Data Science lifecycle; * Possess solid knowledge of Google AI tools (Gemini, NotebookLM, Code Assist, etc.); * Have strong professional experience with Python; * Have business knowledge; * Have knowledge of Agile methodologies; * Have experience leading data teams; * Maintain strong ties with academia (e.g., enjoy reading research papers, writing, etc.); * Enjoy conducting pre-sales activities; * Enjoy performing technical due diligence; * Enjoy providing technical consulting; * Blend Software Engineering and Data Science expertise, with deep knowledge in AI. It’s a plus if you... * Hold a Master’s degree or specialization in Data Science; * Have advanced English proficiency (reading, writing, listening, speaking); * Have previously served as a Scrum Master on projects, demonstrating excellence in running the methodology; * Have strong alignment with the business side—able to quickly identify pain points, problems, risks, etc., and rapidly and accurately understand the business challenge.
