Promotes sustainability culture and conducts environmental education **Application Deadline** 01/18/26 **Challenge** We are seeking a professional to work in the forestry sector in SC and RS, responsible for environmental management, ensuring regulatory compliance, maintenance of certifications, and biodiversity protection across company-owned areas. **What You Will Do?** \- Obtain, maintain, and monitor environmental licenses and forest activity certifications by preparing, updating, and submitting projects, plans, and reports to environmental agencies and certification bodies; \- Contribute to prevention and mitigation of environmental impacts by monitoring demarcation of Permanent Preservation Areas and Conservation Areas, as well as planning and implementing enrichment and recovery plans for degraded areas; \- Evaluate data and monitor environmental impacts in forest areas and operations, participating in micro-environmental planning and proposing corrective actions when necessary; \- Promote sustainability culture through planning and implementation of environmental education initiatives for employees and local communities; \- Generate and consolidate knowledge on native forests and biodiversity within company areas, overseeing execution of environmental research (flora, fauna, conservation, etc.); \- Support compliance with current forest and environmental legislation by disseminating and monitoring applicable regulations and their updates, and proposing action plans for necessary adjustments. **What You Need?** \- Degree in Forestry Engineering; \- Experience in forestry operations (reforestation); \- Knowledge and experience in FSC Certification and Chain of Custody, and Environmental Legislation; \- Preferred qualifications: \- Experience with environmental agencies in SC/RS; \- Proficiency in geoprocessing tools (ArcGIS/QGIS). **Unit** Forestry – SC Campina da Alegria – Vargem Bonita **Work Model** Hybrid Work Opportunity.
