For more information about the company: https://www.iav.com/BR\_pt **About the opportunity:** As part of the Vehicle Dynamics division, the Active Features Calibration Specialist reports to the local calibration manager. Your role focuses on calibrating and optimizing vehicle control systems to ensure optimal performance and safety. This involves working with various vehicle dynamic systems to adjust parameters and algorithms that govern vehicle behavior under different driving conditions. **Responsibilities and duties** * Calibration and validation of advanced vehicle control systems, including but not limited to: * ESC/VDC – Electronic Stability Control * TCS – Traction Control System * Vehicle Hold/Start Assist Systems (AVH, HH) * Active differential controls * Conduct functional safety tests and report results * Drive and ride in vehicles below and beyond traction limits * Use of INCA, MDA, CANAPE, and other industry-standard tools for calibration tasks * Ability to operate and navigate models within Simulink * Vehicle instrumentation and data analysis * Knowledge of automotive network protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet), diagnostics, and communication with vehicle ECUs * Benchmarking of competing vehicles focused on analysis of dynamic control systems * Request and follow up on workshop activities and procurement of materials related to vehicle and/or equipment testing **Requirements and qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering or equivalent * 1 year or more of automotive experience in a similar role * Knowledge of vehicle electrical, mechanical, and electronic components * Advanced knowledge of vehicle dynamics and control engineering * Basic knowledge of vehicles (mechanical parts, suspension, engine, transmission, etc.) * Problem-solving attitude * Project management skills * Proven driving skills under all surface conditions (snow, wet, dry, off-road) * Intermediate English proficiency **Additional information** * CLT employment contract * Flexible working hours * Meal or food allowance * Fuel allowance or transportation allowance * Profit-sharing program (PLR) * Training incentives: languages and specializations * Life, health, and dental insurance * Partnerships with universities and language schools **The Company**: IAV is one of the world's leading companies providing automotive engineering services.
