Job Summary: You will serve as a Junior Telecommunications Analyst, responsible for the development, integrated testing, laboratory testing, and field testing of Wabtec’s telecommunications/network solutions, providing technical support. Key Highlights: 1. Development and support of Wabtec’s telecommunications/network solutions. 2. Integrated and field testing for PTC and Digital Intelligence. 3. You will join the Telecommunications team within the Digital Intelligence LATAM Engineering group, responsible for developing telecommunications solutions—particularly for the Positive Train Control (PTC) system. How will you make a difference? As a Junior Telecommunications Analyst, you will contribute to the development, integrated testing, laboratory testing, and field testing of Wabtec’s telecommunications/network solutions for customers. You will also provide technical support for deployed systems, demonstrating proactivity, agility, strong analytical capability, and willingness to learn and travel. Required Experience and Qualifications* Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Automation. * On-site work mode – Location: Contagem. * Availability for national and international travel. * Minimum of 1 year of experience in software, network/telecom, or IT infrastructure projects. * Failure analysis using system logs. * Creation and execution of test scenarios and cases; reporting. * Laboratory testing of telecommunications equipment. * System requirements specification. * Technical documentation (specifications, manuals, reports, training materials). * Intermediate English (meetings, requirements, emails, and reports). Desired Qualifications* Programming language knowledge (Python, C/C\+\+). * Linux knowledge. * Networking and communication protocols (TCP/IP). * Familiarity with project management (life cycles, planning, scope). * Experience as an Azure DevOps user. Differential* Experience in telecommunications systems/applications projects for the railway environment. Soft Skills* Analytical ability to solve complex problems. * Strong organizational skills and record-keeping discipline. * Effective communication and facilitation of customer meetings. * Ability to synthesize information for requirement identification and organization. * Results-oriented mindset. * Willingness and ability to learn quickly. * Agility in working independently and collaboratively. * Capacity for discussion and idea generation. * Commitment to schedules.
