We encourage applications from Black individuals, persons with disabilities, LGBTQIAPN+, and individuals from diverse generations. \#VemSerTelemont. **Responsibilities and Duties** Assist in optical splicing activities; Assist in aerial and underground optical cable laying; Assist in vegetation clearance around optical cables; Assist in pole installation and associated telephone accessories; Assist in removal of inactive wires and cables; Assist in replacement of splice closures and terminal boxes; Assist in opening duct lines and trenches; Assist in testing for optical cable fault diagnosis; Assist in periodic preventive inspections of optical cable routes and fiber testing; Assist—and when necessary, independently open and close optical splice closures, prepare cables, fuse fibers, and install terminal boxes; Assist in performing aerial and underground splices on active and inactive optical cables; Excavations to access buried optical cables and underground splice closures; soil probing to locate splice closures and cables; vegetation clearance along optical cable routes. Perform other activities of similar nature, complexity level, and responsibility. **Requirements and Qualifications** Completed elementary education.
