We encourage applications from Black individuals, persons with disabilities, LGBTQIAPN+, and individuals from diverse generations. \#VemSerTelemont. **Responsibilities and Duties** Assist in optical fiber splicing activities; Assist in aerial and underground optical cable laying; Assist in vegetation clearance around optical cables; Assist in installation of telephone poles and related accessories; Assist in removal of inactive wires and cables; Assist in replacement of splice closures and terminal boxes; Assist in opening duct lines and trenches; Assist in testing for optical cable fault diagnosis; Assist in optical cable route inspections and periodic preventive fiber testing; Assist—and when necessary, open and close optical splice closures, prepare cables, fuse fibers, and install terminal boxes; Assist in performing aerial and underground splices on active and inactive optical cables; Excavations to access optical cables and buried underground splice closures, soil probing to locate closures and cables, vegetation clearance along optical cables. Perform other activities of the same nature, complexity level, and responsibility. **Requirements and Qualifications** Completed elementary education.
