Job Summary: Responsible for preparing, moving, and securing cargo; performing deliveries and pickups; operating equipment; cleaning vehicles and equipment; and verifying transportation messages. Key Highlights: 1. Loading and securing cargo in transport vehicles 2. Operating loading and unloading equipment 3. Quality control and vehicle cleaning Reports to the Operations Manager. Prepares and performs loading and unloading of goods, raw materials, and products; moves and secures merchandise and cargo in trucks, cars, and other transport vehicles; delivers and collects packages; handles special cargo; repairs damaged packaging; and controls service quality. Operates loading and unloading equipment; performs cleaning and maintenance activities on vehicles, equipment, and tools used in the workplace; establishes communication by sending, receiving, and verifying transportation messages, notifications, and requests for information, authorizations, and instructions regarding transportation, loading, and unloading of goods. Secures and unsecures cargo. * Load, unload, and load materials, products, and equipment onto trucks; * Label goods and perform sorting/separation of items, stock organization, and material counting; * Verify weight, volume, and other necessary information for receiving and dispatching goods; * Assemble boxes, packaging, and protective transport materials; * Check invoices and CTE (Transport Service Receipt) for items to be collected and delivered to customers; * Assist the driver in maintaining, organizing, and cleaning vehicles; * Assist the driver in controlling, completing, and updating departmental forms and guides; * Position subject to handling cash upon collection/receipt of goods, requiring full reconciliation of received credits with the finance department during the workday or at the end of the shift; * Assist supervisors with other duties and tasks relevant to the position.
