Supervision and training of pharmacy staff Pharmacist Position Description We are looking for a Pharmacist to join our team and ensure the quality of services provided by our pharmacy. Responsibilities * Management of the medication cycle (selection, procurement, storage, control, and distribution) * Safe dispensing of medications according to medical prescriptions * Prescription analysis and validation to prevent medication errors * Inventory control, expiration date monitoring, and handling of specially controlled medications * Pharmacovigilance activities and adverse event reporting * Development and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and institutional protocols * Participation in hospital committees (e.g., Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee, Infection Control Committee, Patient Safety Committee, etc.) * Supervision and guidance of pharmacy staff * Training of clinical staff on safe medication use * Ensuring compliance with ANVISA regulations and other applicable legislation * Supporting hospital management and cost control * Promoting patient safety and rational use of medications Requirements * Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy * Active registration with the Regional Council of Pharmacy * Prior experience in the pharmaceutical field * Knowledge of sanitary legislation * Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with the public
