Excellent customer service and organized product display #### **About the position:** * The deboning butcher is responsible for preparing meat for sale, including cutting, deboning, portioning, and packaging. They must ensure product quality by adhering to hygiene and food safety standards while meeting customers' needs and preferences. #### **Mandatory requirements:** * Completed elementary education; * Prior experience as a deboning butcher or in a similar role. #### **Desirable requirements:** * Good practices in food handling; * Customer service and sales skills; * Advanced knowledge of all types of meat cuts; #### **Responsibilities:** * Debone various cuts of meat—including beef, pork, poultry, and fish—using appropriate tools such as knives, saws, and sharpeners. * Provide courteous customer service in accordance with the company's mandatory five-star service standards; * Portion meat pieces as needed, performing pre-preparation according to the daily menu, using appropriate equipment and techniques; * Maintain order and hygiene in the workplace to prevent accidents and insect proliferation, preserving product quality; * Restock products, applying the first-in-first-out (FIFO) principle; * Display products on refrigerated counters in an organized manner to ensure good visibility; * Transfer products from freezing to cold storage as needed; * Remove meats from the counter at the end of the shift and place them in refrigerated chambers for preservation and next-day display, hanging them on clean hooks with adequate spacing to allow cold air circulation between them, if necessary; * Keep meats under refrigeration; * Maintain a clean work environment, including equipment, counters, refrigerated chambers, preparation areas, sales areas, and work tools; * Disassemble, clean, and sanitize meat grinders and mincers whenever necessary; #### **Benefits:** * Health insurance; * Dental insurance; * Attendance bonus or food basket; * Incentive rewards for achieving targets; * Discounts with distance-learning institutions, pharmacies, and other partners; * Shopping discounts; * Transportation allowance; * On-site snacks. #### **Work schedule and hours:** * Rotating shift: 6 days on, 1 day off
