The Warehouse Clerk has the additional mission of promoting best practices, guiding the team, and contributing to the department’s evolution toward higher standards of control, efficiency, and operational excellence. Operational / Technical \*Receive, inspect, and verify materials against invoices and purchase orders. \*Control stock entries, exits, and movements in the system (ERP). \*Conduct cyclic and general inventories, analyzing discrepancies and proposing corrections. \*Monitor stock levels and flag replenishment needs. \*Identify obsolete, damaged, or near-expiry materials. \*Ensure proper and safe item storage conditions. \*Organize the warehouse according to location, addressing, and classification criteria. \*Processes and Continuous Improvement \*Identify opportunities to optimize layout, storage methods, and workflow. \*Suggest process adjustments to reduce errors, losses, and rework. \*Standardize labels, coding, and internal processes. \*Collaborate in internal and external audits. Relationships and Communication \*Interact with Procurement, Production, Maintenance, and other internal departments. \*Provide service to internal customers, ensuring speed and accuracy. \*Generate management reports upon request. Essential Requirements Minimum Education: Completed High School Desired Education: Technical Degree in Logistics, Administration, Industrial Processes, or related fields. \*Organization and attention to detail: ability to maintain organized processes, ensure accurate data entry, and prevent stock errors. \*Responsibility and sense of priority: understanding the impact of warehouse deliveries on operations and acting with commitment. \*Proactivity and initiative: anticipate needs, identify process flaws, and propose improvements. \*Clear and assertive communication: maintain good relationships with departments such as Procurement, Maintenance, and Production, aligning information accurately. \*Teamwork: collaborate with colleagues, support junior staff, and foster a cooperative environment. \*Analytical and problem-solving skills: seek quick solutions for discrepancies, material shortages, or operational emergencies. \*Discipline and adherence to standards: follow procedures, safety policies, and storage standards. \*Adaptability: handle variable demands, shifting priorities, and dynamic routines. Technical role model attitude: act with maturity and reliability, serving as a trusted resource for the team and supervision. Desirable Requirements\*Certifications or complementary courses, such as: Inventory Management; Integrated Logistics – Storage and Material Handling; 5S / Lean / Kaizen; Rotating Inventory and Good Storage Practices. \*Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Totvs, SAP, Protheus, Sênior, Bling, or similar). \*Knowledge of material coding and logical addressing. \*Informal leadership skills, guiding peers or training new employees. \*Basic understanding of materials planning (MPM — Management of Materials / Materials Planning; PCM — Planning and Control of Maintenance). \*Driver’s license — if external movements or warehouse transfers are required.
