We are seeking a professional to work on corporate Long-Term Planning area demands. **Responsibilities and duties** * Develop mine design and layout studies, ensuring operational flexibility and planning throughout the mine's life cycle * Evaluate scenarios and uncertainties in the mining plan * Conduct economic feasibility studies for production processes and implementation of new practices/processes * Estimate mine Capex and Opex * Prepare final pit plans for budgeting and investment planning * Perform mine project cost analysis * Execute short-, medium-, and long-term mining sequencing * Optimize and operationalize pits * Develop Life-of-Mine (LOM) pits * Monitor and review work performed by third-party companies * Evaluate results and propose improvements and/or corrections * Prepare and support mining planning reports * Conduct monthly visits to operations and projects **Requirements and qualifications** Requirements: Be proactive; be available for urgent and unexpected demands; work collaboratively in teams; be willing to travel. Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering. Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role. Experience in Iron Ore is essential; experience in Base Metals and Gold is desirable. Experience in short- to long-term mining planning is required; experience in Mine Operations is preferred. Mandatory: Proficiency in at least one mining software — Micromine, Minesight, Surpac, Vulcan, or Datamine. Desirable: Proficiency in Micromine software. **We are a Brazilian company engaged in exploration, development, and operation of mineral assets.** With 18 years of experience, we currently operate across all regions of Brazil, with a diversified portfolio covering a broad range of minerals, including iron ore, gold, nickel, rare earths, phosphate, and limestone. Our projects span all stages of the mining lifecycle — from greenfield exploration through to active operations — and we employ over 2,100 professionals across Brazil, all committed to our purpose. Currently, we operate three iron ore mines in Minas Gerais: Baratinha and Mongais Mines, part of the Baratinha Complex, and Pedra Branca Mine. Our first iron ore operation, Baratinha Mine in the Vale do Aço region, commenced operations in 2014 and features a wet beneficiation plant with an annual capacity of 2.5 million tons. In 2024, the Mongais Project entered operation, with a dry processing capacity of 1.5 million tons per year, increasing the total capacity of the Baratinha Complex to 4.0 million tons per year. In the municipalities of João Monlevade and Itabira (MG), the Pedra Branca Project began operations in the third quarter of 2025\. The project holds resources of 130 million tons, including 33 million tons of high-grade material, and is expected to reach full-capacity production of 2.0 million tons per year, exclusively via dry processing. Additionally, Bemisa operates a pilot-scale gold project in Pará state, located in Água Azul do Norte near the Carajás polymetallic district. Developed since the greenfield stage, the project does not use tailings dams for waste disposal and employs predominantly local labor.
