Our commitment is to ensure fair processes and an inclusive environment where talent and leadership are the true criteria for growth. **Job Title:** Senior Buyer **Location:** Pouso Alegre, MG or Balneário Piçarras, SC — Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 remote) **Reports To:** Procurement Coordinator As a **Senior Buyer**, you will manage procurement categories, define sourcing strategies, and conduct supplier negotiations. You will handle contractual management and monitor key performance indicators, identifying cost reduction opportunities. You will collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments to ensure supply chain efficiency and compliance. **Responsibilities** * Manage procurement categories through market analysis (trends, geopolitical risks, foreign exchange, and technologies), strategic supplier segmentation, and sourcing strategy definition (TCO, cost breakdown, strategic sourcing, dual sourcing) * Plan demand jointly with internal departments, considering volumes, seasonality, and future needs * Conduct complex negotiations with domestic and international suppliers, ensuring competitive commercial and operational terms * Draft, review, and renegotiate medium- and long-term contracts, incorporating SLAs, KPIs, penalties, compliance requirements, and ESG practices, in partnership with Legal * Develop and monitor performance metrics (savings, lead time, service level, stockouts) using dashboards and BI tools * Perform cost modeling and cost breakdown to identify cost reduction opportunities and efficiency gains * Evaluate and develop strategic suppliers, implementing continuous improvement programs and mitigating operational, financial, and reputational risks across the supply chain * Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as Legal, Finance, and Maintenance to ensure strategic alignment and governance **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, or related fields * Solid experience in strategic procurement, especially within industrial sectors * Strong negotiation skills, contract analysis expertise, and strategic business acumen * Advanced proficiency in Excel, BI tools, and ERP systems * Experience in cost analysis * Postgraduate degree or MBA in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Project Management is a plus * Advanced English proficiency Newell Brands (NASDAQ: NWL) is a leading global consumer goods company with a strong portfolio of well-known brands, including Rubbermaid, Sharpie, Graco, Coleman, Rubbermaid Commercial Products, Yankee Candle, Paper Mate, FoodSaver, Dymo, EXPO, Elmer’s, Oster, NUK, Spontex and Campingaz.
