We are seeking a **Production Leader** to work in the tallow plant, responsible for supervising, guiding, and ensuring the proper execution of operational activities. The professional will be responsible for organizing the team, complying with production processes, and guaranteeing safety, quality, and hygiene standards in the department. **Responsibilities and duties** Coordinate and supervise operational activities in the tallow plant. Assign tasks, guide the team, and ensure adherence to the daily production plan. Monitor product receipt, processing, and packaging, ensuring efficiency and quality. Control production indicators, losses, and yield, reporting to the immediate supervisor. Ensure correct use of PPEs and compliance with Occupational Safety regulations. Maintain the department organized, clean, and with equipment operating properly. Identify maintenance needs and immediately notify the responsible department. Train new employees and support team development. Monitor work schedules, working hours, and operational discipline. Record incidents and propose process improvements. **Requirements and qualifications** Experience leading teams in the tallow industry. Knowledge of tallow production processes. Skills in people management, communication, and decision-making. Flexibility regarding working hours. Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety regulations. **Additional information** Courses in production, leadership, or management. Experience with production indicators and reports. Biograx is a TALLOW PLANT that collects and processes bovine animal by-products, such as: BONES, SKIN, VISCERA, and HEADS. At our facility, we produce MEAT MEAL and BLOOD MEAL used as animal feed for POULTRY, PETS, and SWINE. We also process OIL: raw materials arrive in their natural state, are ground and cooked to separate liquid from solid components; then, via pressing, all liquid is extracted, heated, and centrifuged to remove impurities, resulting in VEGETABLE OIL for supply to BIODIESEL industries.
