Join us!** About the position: Work at the South America Tech Center on regional and global automotive projects, supporting Vehicle Functional Safety activities across the full product development lifecycle (from concept to launch). The professional will ensure compliance with ISO 26262 requirements, engage in multidisciplinary collaboration, and interact with global teams. **Key Responsibilities** -------------------------------- * Serve as the technical interface between development departments (Electrical/Electronic, Powertrain, Chassis, Body, Connectivity, and Software) on Functional Safety topics; * Conduct and support **Impact Analysis** of technical modifications to vehicle systems; * Participate in the development and updating of **HARA (Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment)**; * Contribute to the creation and maintenance of the project’s **Safety Plan** and **Safety Case**; * Monitor and manage Functional Safety non-conformities and issues, tracking action plans to technical closure; * Support internal and external technical audits from an ISO 26262 perspective; * Oversee virtual validations and physical testing of electro-electronic systems (hardware and software); * Collaborate with global teams for technical alignment and Safety status reporting. **Mandatory Requirements** --------------------------- * Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Control and Automation, or related fields; * Prior experience in the automotive industry; * Practical knowledge of **ISO 26262**, including: + Impact Analysis + HARA + Safety Plan + Safety Case * Advanced English proficiency for technical interaction with international teams; * Brazilian driver’s license, Category B. **Preferred Qualifications** ---------------- * Knowledge of ISO 21448 (SOTIF); * Experience with ADAS, connectivity, or electrified systems; * Familiarity with Chassis subsystems; * Experience in an OEM or Tech Center environment. **What We Offer** * Meal Allowance; * Transportation Allowance or Fuel Allowance; * Health Insurance; * Dental Insurance; * Life Insurance; * Daycare Assistance; * Maternity and Paternity Leave; * Wellhub; * OnHappy; * Sesc; * Flexible Working Hours.
