Job Summary: The RT Nurse is responsible for organizing the nursing service, administering chemotherapy, guiding patients, and ensuring clients' quality of life. Key Highlights: 1. Administration of chemotherapy and follow-up of oncology patients. 2. Promotion of risk prevention and improvement of clients' quality of life. 3. Catheter maintenance and training of other nursing professionals. RT Nurse Position Responsibilities: * Organize the nursing service according to the institution's specialty; administer chemotherapy in accordance with specialized knowledge; * Guide and monitor clients undergoing chemotherapy and radiotherapy; schedule follow-up appointments (chemotherapy) and medical consultations, when necessary; * Promote and disseminate risk and harm prevention measures, raising awareness among clients and their families to improve clients' quality of life; * Record nursing care-related expenses in the Oncominas system; perform nursing progress notes, nursing consultations, nursing documentation, and triage when the patient does not attend a consultation; * Ensure appropriate conditions for prescription, preparation, storage, transportation, administration, and disposal of antineoplastic therapy; handle and maintain semi-implanted and fully implanted catheters, as well as instruct clients on related care; * Support the clinical staff by providing information about the service and/or clients served; provide systematic training to other nursing professionals; * Ensure proper operation and maintenance of equipment related to the department; remove sutures, when necessary; Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Nursing; * Active and valid registration with the Regional Nursing Council (COREN); * Prior experience in clinical care; * Postgraduate degree in Oncology (completed or in progress); * Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
