Knowledge of good food handling practices **About the position:** ================= The Refrigerated Goods Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the organized and efficient operation of the refrigerated section, keeping the workplace prepared for food processing, inspecting the environment, ensuring organization, and cleaning equipment and utensils. **Requirements:** --------------- * Previous experience in the refrigerated goods area; preferably one year of experience as a Refrigerated Goods Stocker or Refrigerated Goods/Pereishables Supervisor. * Good food handling practices * Leadership and team management skills. * Knowledge of good food handling practices. * Problem-solving ability and decision-making skills. * Excellent communication skills. * Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. * Completed high school education, preferably with courses in the food industry. **Responsibilities:** ---------------------- * Ensure alignment of the refrigerated goods team with business strategy and compliance with processes, contributing to service quality at the store and achievement of targets; * Monitor daily PIV (Sales Incentive Program) data for the month; * Ensure team readiness for inventory, participate in it, and complete review within two days; * Monitor departmental KPIs, keep the team informed about set targets and achieved results, contributing to the company's goal attainment. * Manage subordinate staff's overtime bank; * Ensure transfers are performed correctly; * Ensure daily product write-offs; * Monitor organization of refrigerated and frozen chambers; * Monitor departmental losses daily; * Ensure store opening and closing; * Ensure team commitment to sales and departmental targets; * Coordinate with the Commercial Sales Supervisor on layout changes to improve department performance; ### **Benefits:** * Health insurance; * Dental insurance; * Attendance bonus; * Achievement-based bonuses; * Discounts with distance learning institutions, pharmacies, and other partners; * Shopping discounts; * Transportation allowance; * On-site meals.
