We are seeking a Software Quality Intern focused on automated testing! If you are curious about programming, passionate about ensuring systems function flawlessly, and eager to learn how to automate tests that safeguard the quality of real-world products, **this role is for you!** **Location:** Lavras \- MG **What will you do?** * Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts for web applications, APIs, and mobile apps; * Collaborate with developers and other QA professionals to identify critical test scenarios suitable for automation; * Support validation of new features and regression verification through automated tests; * Design and document test scenarios using Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) with the Gherkin language; * Participate in the execution and analysis of automated tests, identifying failures and investigating their root causes. **What does YouX expect from you?** * Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related fields; * Availability to work 30 hours per week (Monday to Friday, during business hours); * Residency in Lavras; * Interest in acquiring foundational programming knowledge to collaborate effectively with the development team; * Strong verbal and written communication skills, essential for clearly and objectively documenting and sharing test results; * Organizational skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking to help identify and document potential system errors; * Eagerness to learn and grow in the quality assurance field, applying best practices and continuously improving testing processes; * Proactivity and flexibility to handle diverse contexts and team demands. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience automating tests across different environments (web, APIs, mobile apps); * Knowledge of BDD with Gherkin and documentation best practices; * Ability to debug and analyze failures in automated tests; * Curiosity and interest in continuous quality practices, demonstrating willingness to learn and contribute to improving testing and delivery processes. **Why join us?** Working with us means joining a multidisciplinary team committed to environmental and digital transformation through strategic initiatives.
