Conduct rigorous code reviews to ensure quality ### **Job Title** Senior Development Engineer \- Senior Product Development Analyst \- \*Based in Varginha, MG\* ### **Job Description** **Senior Product Development Analyst** ***Only CVs in English will be considered*** You will join the Software Research and Development team in ***Varginha/MG***, a globally operating team. You will directly contribute to the development and maintenance of medical devices, specifically in the Hospital Patient Monitoring area (currently focusing on general and obstetric multi\-parameter monitors). **Your role:** * Participate in the entire software development process, working autonomously and in pair\-programming with other software team members, challenging requirements, design, and quality. * Serve as a technical expert in specific areas within the team, leading the creation of software designs and providing guidance on best practices. * Take on higher-complexity software development tasks, collaborating with senior team members to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet project requirements. * Conduct rigorous code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, identify potential errors, and promote best practices in software development, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high-quality code. * Collaborate with the testing team in developing and executing test plans—including unit, integration, and system tests—to ensure reliability, performance, and compliance with specifications. * Investigate and resolve software defects by analyzing logs, reproducing issues, and implementing effective fixes to improve software reliability and performance. * Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and software development best practices to continuously enhance your skillset and apply innovative solutions. * Participate in agile development processes, attending daily stand-ups, activity planning, and retrospectives to ensure smooth project execution and continuous improvement, promoting agile principles and team cohesion. **You are the right person if you have:** * A completed undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Systems Analysis and Development, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Control and Automation, or related fields. * Strong analytical skills, high initiative, a continuous improvement mindset, and customer- and end-user-focused orientation. * Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and tools. * \+3 years of experience in software product development. * Intermediate to advanced English proficiency. * Knowledge of: C/C\+\+ programming, Design Patterns, Version Control (Git), Agile Methodologies, Linux, and Embedded Systems. **How We Work Together** We believe we create greater impact together than apart.
