Responsibilities and Duties * Manage accounting closing routines and ensure deadlines are met; * Perform inventory closing and cost control; * Review and approve accounting reconciliations; * Prepare financial statements in accordance with accounting standards; * Prepare statutory filings: ECD and IBGE, among others; * Propose improvements and design new process workflows; * Lead integrated improvements with internal partners; * Understand the business and conduct results analysis; * Proactively engage with departments to meet deadlines; * System configuration and key user role for the integrated Protheus system; * Participate in preparing results presentations; * Monitor and control budgeting, analyzing variances between budgeted and actual figures. Requirements and Qualifications * Completed degree in Accounting Sciences; * Active CRC registration; * Advanced Excel knowledge; familiarity with tools such as SQL and VBA is a plus; * Audit experience is a plus; * Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; * Familiarity with the Totvs – Protheus system.
