




Job Summary: The Administrative Assistant supports the Director/Coordinator of Seminaries and Institutes, assisting in the religious education of youth and in administrative management. Key Highlights: 1. Supports the religious education of youth, helping them understand the teachings. 2. Performs a wide variety of administrative and support services. 3. Makes moderately complex decisions and carries out tasks requiring sound judgment and accuracy. The position of Administrative Assistant for Seminaries and Institutes of Religion aims to assist the Institute Director / Coordinator in fulfilling responsibilities related to helping youth understand the teachings and the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ, thereby qualifying\-them to enter the temple. The incumbent must also serve as a positive example, motivating students. Prepares documents, reports, tables, and charts. Maintains and updates calendars. Schedules and/or coordinates meetings. Arranges travel. Creates and/or maintains filing systems. Reviews and distributes e\-mails. Collects data and compiles information. Answers telephone calls and responds to routine inquiries or requests. Prepares correspondence. Provides a wide variety of administrative and support services to a workgroup, department/area, manager, or director. Decisions and tasks are moderately complex and often non-routine; sound judgment, accuracy, and punctuality are required, aiding in the resolution of complex issues and problems. May assist in preparing budgets and control activities. Administers programs, projects, and/or processes specific to the operational unit served. May serve as the administrative liaison with individuals both inside and outside the organization regarding administrative matters related to procurement, personnel, facilities, and operations. May conduct research, analyze information, and prepare recommendations. Resolves conventional problems, issues, or situations in accordance with established criteria, practices, or protocols. May assist in guiding and training lower-level staff. May handle confidential information. * Completed High School or currently pursuing a higher education degree. * Interpersonal skills to interact effectively with youth, leaders, and teachers. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. * Knowledge of standard office procedures. * Availability to work evening shifts, including Saturdays.
