We are seeking a Data Engineer to work on advanced data engineering solutions with a strong focus on the Azure ecosystem. The professional will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance data pipelines and environments using modern technologies. Responsibilities: Design and manage data pipelines using Azure Data Factory. Develop and maintain notebooks, workflows, and Delta Tables in Databricks. Implement data processing solutions using Python and PySpark. Build procedures, views, and functions in SQL Server (on-premises and cloud-based with Azure SQL). Create and manage ETL processes using SSIS. Work with relational and non-relational databases, ensuring efficiency and integrity in data storage and retrieval. Model data using widely recognized market tools, including dimensional, star, and snowflake schemas. Ensure quality, scalability, and security of implemented data solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, development, and analytics) to meet organizational needs. Develop and maintain CI/CD processes for continuous integration and delivery in data pipelines. Required Qualifications: Solid experience (3+ years) in Data Engineering, especially within the Azure ecosystem. Advanced knowledge of technologies such as Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, and Databricks. Proficiency in Python and PySpark for processing and manipulating large volumes of data. Experience with SQL Server (on-premises and cloud), including development of procedures, views, and functions. Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., SQL Server and Oracle) and non-relational databases (e.g., CosmosDB and MongoDB). Familiarity with data modeling using market-standard tools and approaches such as dimensional, star, and snowflake modeling. Experience optimizing and transferring large volumes of data between on-premises and cloud-based transactional systems. Desired Qualifications: Knowledge of Agile methodologies. Familiarity with collaboration and management tools such as Jira and Confluence. Experience with ERwin, DrawSQL, or Lucidchart for data modeling. Experience with code versioning tools such as GitHub or Bitbucket. Knowledge of CI/CD processes using tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar. Understanding of DevOps practices applied to data environments.
