Opportunities to improve cargo scheduling processes **Main Responsibilities:** * Plan and schedule cargo shipments according to operational demands and vehicle availability. * Conduct **hiring and negotiation with third-party drivers**, as required by transportation demands. * Organize loading and dispatch sequences in the warehouse. * Monitor execution of cargo schedules, making adjustments when necessary. * Ensure optimal utilization of owned and affiliated fleets. * Maintain contact and alignment with drivers to define loading times, locations, and operational instructions. * Interface with logistics, warehouse operations, drivers, and customers. * Control loading and vehicle departure deadlines. * Monitor cargo flow, ensuring adherence to scheduled timelines. * Record and update information in logistics control systems or spreadsheets. * Identify opportunities to improve cargo scheduling and operations processes. **Requirements:** * Completed high school education (a bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or related fields is preferred). * Experience in logistics programming, transportation, or cargo operations. * Experience in **hiring or negotiating with third-party/affiliated drivers**. * Knowledge of logistics planning, fleet control, or route optimization. * Proficiency with control systems and spreadsheets.
