Job Summary: This teaching assistant will provide support for laboratory practical activities, ensuring organization, preparation of materials, equipment maintenance, and compliance with safety regulations. Assist teachers and students in laboratory practices This teaching assistant position requires attendance at the Divinópolis study center twice per week (Mondays and Thursdays), for two hours each session. An active CRQ registration is required for reagent requisition/purchase. Teaching assistant duties include: Providing support for practical activities conducted in the laboratory, ensuring organization, preparation of materials, equipment maintenance, and compliance with safety regulations—thereby contributing to the quality of practical classes and to students' academic development. Main Responsibilities: Prepare laboratories for practical classes according to the academic schedule. Sort, organize, and make available reagents, glassware, equipment, and other materials required for activities. Assist teachers and students during laboratory practice execution, as requested. Perform cleaning, sanitization, and organization of the laboratory after classes, maintaining an appropriate environment for subsequent activities.
