Job Description: The Driver is responsible for safely, efficiently, and timely transporting materials, equipment, and occasionally personnel from Morais \& Morais Modelos, in accordance with established deadlines. The Driver must ensure vehicle preservation, comply with traffic laws, and assist in other operational activities as needed, contributing to the company's service excellence. **Main Responsibilities:** * **Safe and Efficient Transportation:** * Operate company vehicles (cars, vans, trucks, as required and per license class) for delivery and pickup of materials (chemical toilets, modular units, ticket booths, barriers, closure signs, etc.) at event and construction sites. * Transport work teams to various locations, ensuring safety and punctuality. * Plan delivery and pickup routes, selecting the most efficient and safe paths. * Ensure cargo safety and integrity throughout transit. * **Vehicle Maintenance and Preservation:** * Perform daily vehicle inspections (oil, coolant, fuel, tires, brakes, etc.) before starting operations. * Keep the vehicle clean and organized, both internally and externally. * Immediately report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs to supervisors. * Adhere to the vehicle's preventive maintenance schedule. * **Documentation and Records:** * Maintain up-to-date vehicle documentation and personal documents (driver's license, etc.). * Complete trip reports, mileage logs, and other required documents per company procedures. * Collect and deliver documents when necessary. * **Customer Service:** * Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers and suppliers at delivery and pickup sites. * Notify customers upon arrival and assist with unloading when applicable and safe. * **Other Duties:** * Assist with loading and unloading materials when required and in compliance with safety regulations. * Perform other related operational tasks assigned by supervisors. * Comply with internal company policies and procedures, including occupational safety rules. **Required Qualifications:** * **Education:** Completed elementary education (high school diploma preferred). * **License:** National Driver's License (CNH) class D or E, depending on vehicles to be operated. EAR (Paid Activity Endorsement) on CNH is mandatory. * **Experience:** Proven experience as a driver, preferably in cargo or construction/event materials transportation. * **Knowledge:** * Traffic legislation. * Basic automotive mechanics. * Defensive driving. * Use of navigation applications (GPS). **Desired Skills and Competencies:** * **Responsibility:** Meet schedules and deadlines, and safeguard company assets. * **Attention and Care:** Drive safely and pay attention to details. * **Organization:** Keep the vehicle and documentation orderly. * **Communication:** Communicate clearly and courteously with colleagues, supervisors, and customers. * **Proactivity:** Identify and resolve everyday minor issues. * **Flexibility:** Adapt to varying routes and schedules based on event and construction demands. * **Respect:** Treat all individuals with courtesy and professionalism. **Working Conditions:** * Outdoor work, exposed to varying weather and traffic conditions. * Availability for flexible working hours, including weekends and holidays, according to event and construction demands. * Possible need to stay overnight away from base, depending on delivery/pickup distances.
