The ideal candidate will be responsible for building modern data infrastructure that powers Machine Learning and Generative AI solutions—from data ingestion and transformation to model deployment in production. This hybrid role combines expertise in data architecture with AI solution development using Azure OpenAI, Azure Machine Learning, and the full Azure data ecosystem. What will be your role? * Architect and implement Data Lakehouse solutions using Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, Delta Lake, and Azure Synapse Analytics * Develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines with Azure Data Factory, Synapse Pipelines, and Azure Databricks * Build real-time streaming architectures with Azure Event Hubs, Stream Analytics, and Kafka * Implement Data Mesh and data governance solutions with Microsoft Purview * Model dimensional data and create data layers (bronze, silver, gold) for analytical and ML consumption * Optimize query performance and storage/processing costs on the Azure platform * Ensure data quality using data quality frameworks and automated testing * Design and implement Generative AI architectures using Azure OpenAI Service (GPT-4, embeddings, fine-tuning) * Develop end-to-end Machine Learning pipelines with Azure Machine Learning—from feature engineering to production * Build and optimize RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems with Azure AI Search and Azure Cosmos DB * Implement feature stores and feature engineering pipelines for ML models * Apply MLOps practices for model versioning, monitoring, and governance * Develop APIs and microservices to expose models via Azure Functions and Container Apps * Integrate AI solutions with data pipelines for processing unstructured documents, images, and text.
