Job Summary: A Speech-Language Pathologist to provide assistance and preventive care in speech-language pathology, performing regulated procedures with emphasis on humane, high-quality patient care. Focus on humane, high-quality patient care **Schedule**:  1:00 PM–4:00 PM / 4:15 PM–7:15 PM, Monday to Friday (Saturday: 9:00 AM–2:15 PM) **Requirements:** * Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology * Intermediate computer skills * Intermediate Microsoft Office proficiency * Active professional council registration **Job Mission:** To participate in health assistance and preventive activities, performing regulated professional procedures with the aim of delivering humane, high-quality care to patients. **Main Responsibilities:** GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 1\. Implement collective health initiatives in speech-language pathology 2\. Participate in multidisciplinary team rounds for discussion of therapeutic strategies 3\. Attend multidisciplinary team meetings and meetings with management upon request 4\. Work safely, applying standard precaution measures 5\. Document patient progress in the Electronic Patient Record via the Tasy system and verify completed services 6\. Record, update, and analyze speech-language pathology indicators, reporting results to leadership and/or management 7\. Update service documents and work instructions 8\. Perform administrative tasks delegated by leadership and/or management, as well as clinical duties 9\. Attend company-provided training sessions 10\. Propose and deliver training to clinical teams 11\. Provide speech-language pathology interventions following medical prescriptions or referrals from the multidisciplinary team 12\. Recommend speech-language therapy and make additional referrals based on individual patient needs 13\. Manage speech-language pathology-specific materials and resources 14\. Counsel patients, family members, caregivers, and legal representatives during hospitalization and at discharge 15\. Define discharge criteria jointly with the multidisciplinary team **HU-SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:** 1\. Respond to requests for services originating from the oncology outpatient clinic, when required Perform other related duties according to the specific responsibilities of the operational unit and the nature of the work, as directed by management.
