Job Summary: A Toll Operator is responsible for manually collecting toll fees, ensuring full revenue collection, assisting users, and preserving work materials. Key Highlights: 1. More than just vehicles travel our roads—we connect people and drive cargo transportation across some of the country’s most important economic corridors. **Responsibilities and Duties** As a **TOLL OPERATOR**, you will be responsible for: Preparing for manual toll collection by verifying resources, equipment, and required systems, and reporting any nonconformities identified in the toll booth to the supervisor; Manually collecting toll fees according to vehicle categories by identifying, classifying, and assisting users to collect the applicable toll fee; Ensuring all collected amounts are fully deposited by conducting reconciliation at the end of each shift; Providing information on toll evasions, abandoned vehicles, and other relevant observations by completing the Toll Operation Report and submitting it to the toll supervisor at the end of the shift; Preserving and safeguarding materials, equipment, and furniture used in your work environment through proper control and organization; Assisting users traveling on automatic lanes during restricted passages by verifying failures in electronic device reading for compliant vehicles, vehicles with blocked electronic devices, and vehicles without electronic devices—maintaining radio communication with the toll plaza control center; Manually collecting toll fees for overweight vehicles according to vehicle categories by assisting users, receiving the applicable toll fee per vehicle, and accepting the payment method currently valid on adjacent lanes; Relaying pertinent information to the control center during assistance on the Extra-Wide Lane via radio communication; Providing vehicle signage on manual and automatic lanes by signaling lane openings and closures as needed; Recording all relevant information by completing the Toll Operation Report. **Requirements and Qualifications** **We value candidates who have:** Completed High School; Availability to work on a 12x36 schedule. **Additional Information** **What We Offer:** Profit Sharing Program (PPR); Medical Assistance; Dental Plan; Telemedicine; “Caring Closely” Program; Emotional Health Program; Wellness Platform; Arteris Baby Program; Diversity & Inclusion Program: Name correction on official documents for transgender and non-binary individuals; Meal or Food Allowance; Pharmacy Allowance; Transportation Allowance; ArterisPrev (Supplementary Pension); Payroll-Deductible Loan; Childcare Assistance (for women with children up to 6 years old or men with sole legal custody); Life Insurance; Birthday Day Off; 6-month Maternity Leave and 20-day Paternity Leave; UAD — Arteris University of Development.
