Job Summary: A topography professional responsible for planimetric and altimetric surveys, layout of civil and electromechanical construction projects, and operation of topographic equipment. Key Highlights: 1. Conducting planimetric and altimetric topographic surveys 2. Performing layout for civil and electromechanical construction projects, including substations and transmission towers 3. Operating advanced topographic equipment **PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES** * Conduct planimetric and altimetric topographic surveys; * Perform layout for civil and electromechanical construction projects, including substations and transmission towers; * Mark and verify axes, elevations, and alignments of foundations, bases, and structures; * Monitor construction progress by verifying levels, slopes, and positioning; * Support measurement of completed work for control and billing purposes; * Update field logs and notebooks with survey data; * Operate topographic equipment: total station, optical level, theodolite, and GPS; * Support preparation of maps, profiles, and technical reports; * Ensure proper storage and maintenance of topographic equipment; * Comply with safety regulations in electrically hazardous areas. **TECHNICAL SKILLS:** * Experience in topography applied to infrastructure, substation, or transmission line projects; * Knowledge of layout for civil construction and electrical equipment foundations; * Proficiency with topographic equipment (Total Station, RTK GPS, level, theodolite); * Ability to read and interpret topographic and civil engineering drawings; * Familiarity with topographic software and AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar tools. **ADDITIONAL KNOWLEDGE:** * Knowledge of safety standards (NR-10 and NR-18); * Basic understanding of georeferencing and UTM coordinate systems; * Basic understanding of error control in topographic measurements; * Experience in heavy infrastructure construction projects; * Technical course in Topography or Surveying is desirable.
