Contribute to continuous improvements and guide the tax team Job Mission: Provide technical expertise in the calculation, analysis, and preparation of the company’s financial statements, ensuring compliance with current accounting and tax regulations. Serve as a technical reference within the accounting area, with emphasis on the specificities of the transportation sector, contributing to the generation of reliable and legally compliant information. Main Responsibilities: Perform full accounting recording of corporate operations. Prepare and analyze financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement, statement of changes in equity), ensuring compliance with Brazilian Accounting Pronouncements (CPCs) and current legislation. Analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts, focusing on detailed reconciliations and consistent justifications. Calculate Income Tax and Social Contribution. Lead monthly and annual accounting/tax closing, ensuring data integrity. Actively participate in the submission of ancillary obligations such as ECD, ECF, and annual IBGE reporting. Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and clarifications. Contribute to continuous improvements in accounting processes and controls. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable tax and accounting legislation. Guide and supervise the tax team’s work, ensuring tasks are performed and delivered with integrity and within deadlines. Job Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Sciences. Active registration with CRC (Regional Accounting Council). Desirable: Postgraduate degree or specialization in Accounting, Controllership, or related fields. Experience: Solid experience in the accounting field, preferably within transportation companies. Hands-on experience in accounting closing and preparation of financial statements. Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Brazilian accounting standards (CPCs). Proficiency in ERP systems (Visual Rodopar). Advanced Excel.
