The Legião da Boa Vontade – LBV is hiring a **Cook**:
The **Cook** is responsible for preparing meals, performing cooking and finishing of dishes, following strict food hygiene and safety standards at the Institution’s Unit.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
* Prepare various meals and specific diets, seasoning, cooking, baking, etc., to compose specific menus.
* Guide and supervise the work of kitchen assistants to ensure production efficiency and quality.
* Follow instructions from the nutritionist and recipes accurately and consistently.
* Adjust seasonings and flavors to ensure final product quality.
* Meet production demands within deadlines and with quality.
* Operate various industrial kitchen equipment (stoves, ovens, boilers).
* Maintain, clean, and ensure proper upkeep of kitchen equipment and utensils.
* Use of PPE.
**Requirements and Qualifications** **Education:** Completed high school;
**Desirable experience:** In kitchen operations;
* Experience in large-scale cooking;
* Knowledge of culinary techniques and recipes;
* Knowledge of good food handling practices and food safety;
* Ability to lead and supervise a team;
* Attention to detail and focus on quality.
**Additional Information**
* Working hours: **220h/month**
* Schedule: **8:00 AM to 5:48 PM (Monday to Friday)**
