**Operations Assistant – Reactor** ***Job Description:*** BEMA Tintas, founded in 1958, is a chemical industry manufacturer of paints and polymers currently undergoing rapid expansion. We are seeking proactive, determined, and energetic professionals to join our team. We are looking for a candidate with a technical chemistry qualification responsible for providing basic, non-technical support to reactor department routines, working exclusively under the direct supervision of a Reactor Operator. During the initial period (minimum six months), responsibilities will be limited to observation, learning, and auxiliary tasks—no equipment operation or technical decision-making is permitted. Upon completion of this period, the Assistant will undergo a competency evaluation for unsupervised reactor operation. An excellent opportunity for professional development and stability! ***Profile:*** Attentive and calm, willing to achieve goals responsibly and with balance. ***Key Responsibilities:*** * Observe and support the Reactor Operator’s routines, focusing on learning and non-technical assistance. * Assist in workplace organization, cleaning of external tools, visual inspection of materials, and basic logistical support. * Perform general production tasks. Any task involving machine operation, valve opening, pump activation, or any other technically restricted activity must be supervised by a Reactor Operator. * Support the laboratory in quality analysis related to reactor-process products, such as resins. * Complete simple checklists and reports upon request. * Comply fully with all safety regulations, PPE requirements, and area-specific procedures. * Following evaluation and leadership approval, may be considered for formal technical training to operate reactors—subject to meeting required criteria. ***Requirements:*** * Completed high school education. * Technical course in chemistry; technical certification is not required during the Assistant role. * Prior experience in industrial production is desirable. * Future availability for night-shift work after at least six months of daytime employment. ***Job Details:*** * Salary: **To be negotiated**. * Must reside near the company. * Working hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:18 PM, with Saturday availability under overtime arrangements. * Benefits: Transportation allowance or fuel allowance, meals provided onsite, health insurance, dental insurance, and covered parking with 24-hour security.
