Description: About the position: We are seeking a DevOps Specialist (AWS) to drive the evolution and operation of the infrastructure supporting our critical systems in the financial sector. This professional will be responsible for designing, automating, and scaling AWS environments, ensuring high availability, security, performance, and cost efficiency. This is a strategic role with strong interaction across development, architecture, security, and operations teams—essential to support Futuro’s modernization and automation journey. Key responsibilities:* Design, implement, and manage AWS infrastructure: resources, networking, security, high availability, and scalability. * Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, deployment (GitHub), and monitoring (Datadog, Grafana). * Create and apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices and configuration automation (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible). * Deploy and operate containerized and orchestration solutions (Docker, Kubernetes or equivalent). * Collaborate closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure continuous, reliable, and secure deliveries. * Participate in 24/7 on-call escalation for critical incidents and collaborate on root-cause analyses. * Document architectures, operational processes, and team guides. * Mentor and support the growth of junior DevOps engineers. * Lead the implementation of DevOps and IaC practices. * Operate and optimize the company’s AWS infrastructure. * Evolve CI/CD pipelines and continuous delivery platforms. * Support modernization initiatives (containers, Kubernetes, advanced automation). * Ensure reliability, security, and scalability of environments. * Serve as a technical reference, guiding developers and engineers. Mandatory requirements:* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). * Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps/Infrastructure roles, including at least 3–5 years focused on AWS. * In-depth knowledge of AWS services: EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Lambda, CloudFormation, etc. * Experience with automation, scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell), and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub, etc.). * Hands-on experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/EKS). * Knowledge of IaC and associated tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible). * Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams. * Proactive mindset with emphasis on automation, security, and the intersection of operations and development. Desirable qualifications (a plus):* AWS DevOps certification or equivalent. * Experience with microservices architectures, serverless, and high scalability. * Experience in regulated environments (financial sector, compliance, security). * Experience in cloud cost-optimization and observability (Prometheus, Grafana).
