Direct involvement with Shopify, ERPs, marketplaces, and payment gateways Senior Backend Developer (PHP or Node.js) We are seeking a **Senior Backend Developer** to join our team and work on developing and maintaining **integrations and systems that support large-scale e-commerce operations**. If you enjoy solving complex problems, working on platform-to-platform integrations, and having technical autonomy to build robust solutions, this role is for you. You will work directly with **Shopify, ERPs, marketplaces, and payment gateways**, ensuring systems operate in an integrated, high-performance, and reliable manner. Your responsibilities: * Develop and maintain backend applications using **PHP (Laravel)** or **Node.js (Express, NestJS, or similar)** * Create, consume, and maintain **REST APIs** * Develop integrations with: * **Shopify (Admin API, Webhooks, Metafields, Orders, Discounts)** * **Payment gateways** * **Marketplaces** * **ERPs** * Implement and validate **webhooks** * Test and debug APIs using **Postman or Insomnia** * Work with **advanced MySQL** (complex queries, performance tuning, indexing) * Identify and fix **production environment bugs** * Access and configure servers via **SSH** * Manage **deploys and environments on Linux servers / Cloudways / VPS** * Create **database synchronization scripts** * Investigate and resolve **system inconsistencies** * Use **Git (organized branching workflow)** for version control What we expect from you (Backend – one of the stacks): **Option 1 — PHP** * PHP 8+ * Laravel (routes, jobs, queues, middleware, Eloquent, migrations, APIs) **OR** **Option 2 — Node.js** * Node.js 18+ * Express, NestJS, or similar frameworks * API architecture, middlewares, and validations * Integrations via SDK or REST APIs Regardless of language: * **Advanced MySQL** * **Intermediate or advanced JavaScript** * Experience building and consuming **REST APIs** * Experience with **Postman or Insomnia** * Use of **SSH for log access and analysis** * Version control with **Git (merge, branches, conflict resolution)** * Real-world experience operating **production systems** Nice-to-have qualifications: * Experience with **Shopify (APIs and Webhooks)** * Experience with **Cloudways** * Knowledge of **Linux servers** * Experience with **marketplace integrations** * Use of **queues/queues systems** * Experience with **process automation** Employment type: * **Full-time** * **CLT or PJ** Job type: Full-time, Permanent CLT, Freelance / PJ Compensation: R$3.055,48 – R$10.816,00 per month Benefits: * Health insurance * Dental insurance * Fuel allowance * Life insurance * Meal voucher * Transportation voucher Work location: On-site
