Interpret texts for translation and instantly interpret speech, consecutively translating through sign language and voice-over, as well as translating gestures into words for the hearing and words into gestures for the deaf. Participate in events, conferences, lectures, workshops, among others, orally or gesturally reproducing the message to be conveyed, enabling understanding and dialogue while respecting the respective context and cultural characteristics of the parties involved. **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:** * Establish communication between Deaf Libras users and hearing individuals, aiming to mediate communication between Deaf and hearing people, ensuring accessibility to dialogue and interpretation. * Interpret events, academic ceremonies, and other activities, accompanying Deaf individuals during learning moments, conveying speakers' words in a way that ensures message comprehension. Orally and/or in sign language, simultaneously or consecutively interpret speeches, debates, texts, and electronic communication forms, respecting the respective context and cultural characteristics of the parties. * Interpret discussions and negotiations, paying attention to the message content to faithfully convey what was presented. * Instantly interpret and translate speeches, events, etc., through sign language, facilitating communication understanding. * Participate in conferences, lectures, and workshops, institutional games, study trips, among others, accompanying the Deaf individual to ensure accessibility and understanding of transmitted or discussed content. * Interpret classroom-taught subjects into sign language for the Deaf student, act as a mediator between the student and classmates (inclusion) and between the student and teacher to enhance the Deaf student's understanding, and guide the teacher on Deaf culture so that necessary adaptations are made when teaching. * Translate the student’s ideas into Portuguese when they express themselves. * Inform how Libras affects the student's written Portuguese, clarifying linguistic differences between the two languages. * Prepare reports on classroom activities to keep the Libras coordinator informed about progress.
