Feel free to register for all available positions that interest you; however, we recommend completing one application process before starting another. **Responsibilities and Duties** **JOB MISSION:** Deliver and prepare didactic materials for undergraduate courses according to previously distributed guidelines and content; administer exams; develop in-class assignments; and clarify doubts. **MAIN DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Develop the course lesson plan—including content and methodology—aligned with the curriculum outlined in the pedagogical plan, and submit it for approval by the Course Coordination. * Deliver classes according to the specific teaching plan to foster student learning. * Maintain updated records of student attendance in class. * Evaluate student performance through the development and administration of specific assessment tools and pedagogical follow-up, ensuring students acquire the skills and competencies required by the pedagogical plan. * Prepare, administer, and grade assessments, returning results to students. * Record and publish assessment results, adhering to the academic calendar. * Keep the class register updated. * Follow the discipline’s bibliographic references established by the Teaching Staff Core and suggest alternative references. Participate in course faculty meetings to refine the pedagogical project. * Supervise undergraduate thesis projects when assigned. * Stay updated on pedagogical practices. * Participate in research and/or extension activities related to your field of expertise, as well as committees and evaluation boards, when assigned. * Maintain academic/scientific output aligned with the program’s guidelines. * Attend scientific events related to your area of expertise to disseminate knowledge and acquire new insights. * Report to the Course Coordination and students on the progress of pedagogical activities and any incidents (conduct, procedures, and attendance) concerning the institution and the course taught. * Participate in the Teaching Staff Core when assigned, fulfilling duties inherent to the role. * Stay updated on institutional documents. * Promote and uphold the Institution’s Code of Ethics; comply with and enforce decisions made by faculty councils and the leadership of your Academic Unit, as well as the Institution’s guiding principles—vision, mission, and values. * Attend departmental meetings and other administrative meetings (e.g., Undergraduate Program Faculty Council; Postgraduate Program Faculty Council; committees to which the faculty member belongs, etc.). * Attend research group meetings to discuss projects, articles, and research progress. Prepare classes and grade exams and student assignments. * Develop proposals for funding calls (e.g., project financing; scholarships; travel grants), as well as prepare specific analytical reports. * Write articles, books, and book chapters; submit them for publication and revise them. * Review articles upon request from scientific journals. * Prepare abstracts for submission of proposals to present papers at conferences and other scientific events. * Prepare lectures, conferences, and panel discussions for presentation at conferences and other scientific events, and attend such conferences and events. * Serve on master’s thesis qualification and defense committees and doctoral dissertation defense committees, either within the institution or at external institutions outside your city. * Appropriately use systems and resources provided by the Institution to perform your duties, in accordance with established norms and procedures. * Be knowledgeable of and comply with norms, procedures, or work instructions defined by Quality, Environmental, Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems, as applicable to your area of activity, established by the Institution or current legislation. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Education:** Master’s degree and/or completed Doctorate required. **Additional Information** **Work Schedule:** 27 HOURS PER MONTH \- NIGHT SHIFT. **Benefits:** * Medical Assistance; * Optional Dental Assistance; * Transportation Voucher: payroll deduction as per legislation; * Study Grant: for undergraduate/postgraduate studies for the employee and undergraduate studies for legal dependents; * Optional Life Insurance; * Totalpass; * Pharmacy Benefit; * SESC Benefit.
